Edwin Cheng

I'm Edwin, a software engineer who's passionate about programming and music. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in May 2020, I decided to pursue a new path in software engineering due to my innate desire to create things. So, I joined App Academy, a rigorous and selective programming bootcamp, and haven't looked back since.

At App Academy, I developed and honed my skills in JavaScript, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, HTML, CSS, as well as other technologies. During this time, I discovered a love for programming, as it fully engages my critical thinking skills and creativity. It's very satisfying to make apps that are intuitive and seamless to work with.

Currently, I am looking for a full-time programming job to further develop my skills and grow, both technically and personally.

In my spare time, I like listening to music and playing the piano. I also enjoy a good game of chess, and am an avid reader of Japanese comics (manga).
